The Jets released their final injury report for Sunday’s game with the Bears, and it looks like they’re going to be without their most explosive pass catcher and several other key pieces.

Wide receiver Robby Anderson is listed as doubtful with an ankle sprain. Meanwhile, starting Spencer Long (finger/knee) and top cornerback Trumaine Johnson (quad) are also listed as doubtful. None of those three players practiced all week, and no Jets player who has been listed as doubtful on the final injury report has played in a game this season.

Meanwhile, safety Marcus Maye (thumb), tackle Kelvin Beachum (back), cornerback Morris Claiborne (shoulder/foot) and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (foot) are all listed as questionable after all participated in limited practice Friday.

Yes, the Jets are extremely banged up. And they will need their backups to produce.

“It’s a big test,” Jets coach Todd Bowles said of the team’s recent rash of injuries. “But these guys have been champing at the bit to play and they’re going to get their chance. … It’s all hands on deck.”

With Anderson unlikely to play, and Quincy Enunwa already ruled out with a high ankle sprain, the Jets’ wide receiver depth is extremely limited. Jermaine Kearse, Andre Roberts, Charone Peake, Deontay Burnett and new addition Rishard Matthews are the only healthy receivers on the roster.

Peake and Burnett have never caught a touchdown pass. Roberts’ last touchdown reception was in 2016, and both Kearse and Matthews are looking for their first touchdowns of the season.

“We’ve got a few guys banged up,” Bowles said. “But we’ve got guys in here, they’ve been practicing. We expect them to play well Sunday. … Those guys are going to have to step up.”

Matthews, the former Titans receiver who just signed with the Jets on Tuesday, said he’s doing everything possible to play in Sunday’s game — including putting in extra work after practice with quarterback Sam Darnold and the other receivers. But Bowles wouldn’t say Matthews will play in Chicago.

“We’ll go over it this weekend,” Bowles said. “We’ll have a plan for him on Sunday if he plays and we’ll go from there. Im not expecting him to learn everything at once, but we’ve got other guys who can play as well.”

Bowles also said he wasn’t sure about Maye’s status. Maye returned to limited practice this week, less than two weeks after breaking his thumb. Bowles said Maye would have to be “healthy enough to play” but wouldn’t elaborate on what exactly that entails.

If Long misses the game, which is likely, Jonotthan Harrison or Dakota Dozier will be the center. Harrison filled in for Long late in last weekend’s loss to Minnesota.

One bit of good injury news for the Jets: cornerback Buster Skrine practiced fully and cleared the concussion protocol after missing the last two games. He will play Sunday in Chicago.
