William Daniels, the actor of "Boy Meets World," confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that a burglar had tried to bring him home Saturday night. The 91-year-old star has frightened the thief attempt, and the story is starting to gain ground just for this reason: Mr. Feeny, his beloved friend, is now 90 years old and scared at a robber.

"Someone tried to introduce it to Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels on Saturday night," Daniels' press team said from his verified account. "Fortunately, Mr. Daniels managed to scare the person, and the LAPD quickly responded, both of them are fine, and Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern."

TMZ was the first to talk about the robbery attempt, as several media took over the story soon after. Someone tried to knock in the back door of Daniels' house at San Fernando Valley around 9:20 pm. Daniels turned on the lights and the intruder escaped, reports TMZ.

Millennial fans "Boy Meets World" remember Daniels as the teacher and the strict but understanding neighbor of Cory Matthews. Older fans know him as Dr. Craig from "St. Elsewhere"; he won two Emmys for this role in the 1980s. Daniels also played KITT in "Knight Rider" from 1982 to 1986 and returned for the 1991 television movie. Daniels' wife, Bonnie Bartlett, also played in "St. Elsewhere" and made appearances in "Boy Meets World" as Mr. Feeny's love interest.

Fans flocked to Daniels Twitter to comment on the burglary attempt message and show their gratitude to the actor.
