MADISON (WKOW) – Snow showers will begin to spread in southwestern Wisconsin late Friday night, picking up speed during the night.
The strongest snow band appears to be along I-90/94 and south of it.
Areas north of I-90/94 can expect about one inch or less of snow. Locations south of I-90/94, including Crawford, Dane, Grant and Richland Counties, and southern Sauk County, could accumulate more than two inches of snow.
Travel could be the most difficult before sunrise on Saturday morning.
Snowfall will end on Saturday late in the morning, but with temperatures falling below 0 ° C during the day, the condition of the roads could be slippery during the afternoon.
