A 75-year-old woman died after being stabbed during an alleged domestic incident in South London.

The woman was assaulted Friday afternoon at Ethnard Road in a residential address in Peckham. The death of this one was pronounced shortly after the arrival of the paramedics. The doctors said they had several stab wounds.

A 55-year-old man who knew the victim was arrested at the crime scene for murder. He was taken to a hospital in East London for treatment, then transferred to a police station in the south of the capital. He remains in detention.
