A pedestrian died Wednesday after being hit by two cars in northeastern Portland, police said. The drivers of both vehicles left before the arrival of the officers.
The woman was reportedly shot around 5:20 pm near the northeast of 162nd Avenue and Halsey Street and is declared dead at the scene. The drivers suspected of involvement have not yet been found, police said.
The vehicle descriptions and the woman's identity have not yet been unveiled by the police. An investigation is underway. Northeast 162nd Avenue is temporarily closed between Northeast Multnomah Street and Halsey Street.
The Portland Police is asking anyone with information about the accident to contact him via his emergency number at 503-823-3333.
