Woman sues American Airlines after alleged rape on Phoenix flight to New York

A woman claims to have been raped during a Phoenix-New York flight in June 2017 and that she is now suing American Airlines.

According to the Daily Mail, Aubrey Lane, 32, said that a drunk passenger had followed her into a bathroom of a plane during a night flight and had raped her.

She told Daily Mail that she had alerted the staff members who had then transferred her to another seat. According to the Daily Mail, she went to the hospital after landing.

Her attacker would not have been arrested and she still does not know her identity.

She also said that the man seemed drunk and that the crew members were still serving him drinks. The man would have acted inappropriately with another passenger.
