Chevy Chase, one of the original cast members of "Saturday Night Live," does not laugh with Lorne.
The 74-year-old actor criticized the creator of the NBC series, Lorne Michaels, about the lack of comedy quality in the sketch in an interview with the Washington Post.
"I'm surprised Lorne is so low," said Chase. "I had to look a little, and I just could not believe it. This means that a whole generation of s-theads laughs at the king's worst humor in the world. You know what I mean? How could you dare to give this generation a worse s – t that it 's already having in its life? It drives me crazy.
He also took a hit at "SNL" alums, including Will Ferrell, calling the actor known for his overvalued impressions of George W. Bush.
"Just not funny," he said. "Give a picture to 25 million dollars"
Chase also admitted not being impressed by several other stars including Tina Fey, who left the show in 2006.
"I loved Tina," he said. "I did not see what the whole story was about. She was good.
The actor also expressed his disappointment with Kristen Wiig, who bid farewell to NBC in 2012.
"She had two things for her," said Chase of the star "Bridesmaids". "She had very clean chops and she was pretty too. But what happened to him? Where has she gone?"
During his stint on the show, Chase became known for his segment "Weekend Update" and won two Emmys for his work. He left the show in 1976.
But despite his criticisms of "SNL", Chase would come back without hesitation. He made an appearance during the 40th anniversary of the show in 2015.
"I can not tell you to be up there on this stage doing that kind of thing," Chase said. "I'll tell you, I'll do it again in a minute."
