While the WWE PPV Hell in a cell is about to start, it is hard not to think of the recent announcement that Matt Hardy is calling for his resignation. More often than not, these rumors are totally superimposed, but most wrestling fans like to know more about what's going on behind the scenes, even though the information is not 100% accurate.
Things will surely become chaotic when the WWE PPV Hell in a cell will be coming to WWE Network and PPV on Sunday, September 16th. This year's event will be hosted by the AT & T Center in Dallas, Texas, and the show will begin at 7:00 pm (ET) / 4:00 pm (local time). There will be several title matches and at least two Hell in a Cell matches confirmed at the show.
Until now, there are no big rumors leading to Hell in a cell yet, but WWE programming still has to go through this week's episodes Gross and Smack down to advance, which is usually the case when the rumor mill begins to move. The biggest news to come out before Hell in a Cell is Matt Hardy's retirement. After an exhibition in Texas, Hardy took Twitter to thank his fans and say that the Saturday night game could be one of his last. You can watch the video in the tweet below.

Since returning to the WWE, he has won the Raw Tag Team Championships twice, once with his brother Jeff and once with his rival partner, Bray Wyatt. In addition, Hardy won the Royal Battle André the Giant at Wrestlemania. It is more than likely that Hardy will make a more official announcement during the episode of September 17th. Gross.

- Becky Lynch and Charlotte fought on Twitter, and Charlotte posed the idea that their match should be a Hell in a Cell match. At the time of writing these lines, three of the games of the event would be played in the cage. [UPDATE] The match has not yet this stipulation, and it does not seem that it will be added.
- The AT & T center revealed part of the card for the PPV. A match has not been confirmed by the WWE and the card is still likely to change. The new addition is Rollins & Ambrose vs. Ziggler and McIntyre for the Raw Tag Team Championships. [UPDATE] Match confirmed and recently added to the map.
- According to Wrestling Observer, Shawn Michaels could come out of retirement for the next show in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. Apparently, he would be involved in a tag match.
- It looks like Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley will be added to the card, according to Owens' story, with his latest attack on Lashley. [UPDATE] It is hours before the event, and this match has not been added. This seems very doubtful.
- Many speculate that Nikki Bella will interfere with Ronda Rousey's match in order to install Bella / Rousey for the WWE Women's PPV, Evolution, for October.
- Kurt Angle has been away for a while, and according to Sportster, Hell in a cell or the Gross after the PPV could be when he returns, in which he will fight Constable Baron Corbin so that Angle can recover his place as General Manager.
