Jim Duggan, a WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw," spent his Thanksgiving holiday in an intensive care unit in South Carolina, revealed his daughter Celia on an Instagram post Thursday.

"Happy Thanksgiving from the Duggan family to yours!" The wrestler's daughter subtitled an image of her and her family surrounding Duggan while he was sitting in a hospital bed. "Dad is in the ICU, but he's in a good mood and we're all fine – we have something to be grateful for this year."

Celia added the hashtags, "#happythanksgiving" and "#family" at the end of her caption.

Although the reason for the hospitalization was not revealed, legendary fans of the fight flooded Celia's Instagram account and sent her greetings.

"Tell your father that we pray for him," wrote a user.

Another said, "I hope everything is fine! I will keep it in my thoughts! "

A third user integrated the famous song of Duggan and said: "Good recovery soon, badass! HOOOOOOO!

Duggan began his wrestling career in the late 1970s after being injured in the knee by a short career in the NFL. He gained the fame of the WWE after winning the 1988 Royal Rumble title. Today, despite his age, the 64-year-old is still struggling.

After his daughter's Thanksgiving post on Instagram, the father of two spoke about his hospitalization on his Instagram account, saying, "It's okay, hopefully be out for Saturday! But I will see the show this Saturday.

A few days before landing at the USI, the famous wrestler shared pictures of an autograph session that he had with fans in New York.

"Great stay at the autograph session in New York !! Now, return to the airport for the return flight to Richmond! A full day, "said Duggan under the title of a photo of himself and a fan.

The hospitalization of Duggan is not the first health alert that the wrestler has addressed publicly.

In 1998, he announced to WCW Nitro that he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer, but that the disease had been detected early and that, after undergoing surgery, he had been able to avoid chemotherapy. .

Duggan returned to WWE in 2005 and joined the brand's Hall of Fame in 2011.
