Smackdown will be celebrating its 1000th episode on October 16 at the Capital One Arena in Washington and the WWE seems intent on honoring this milestone.

Many legends of the fight have been linked to an amazing comeback, one of which is the WWE Hall of Famer Edge.

The 11-time world champion retweeted a fan's tweet claiming that the Tag Team Specialist will be on Smackdown 1000 and replied, "Huh, news for me."

Undertaker will return for the historic episode next month shortly after his final clash with Triple H at the WWE Super Show-Down.
