Despite a sometimes questionable reservation, Raw remains in the right direction as WWE embarks on two months of construction at SummerSlam in late August. Monday's episode produced an exciting 28-minute main event and numerous storyline developments – particularly for the median card and the lower middle card – that helped offset some of the lazy and repetitive cases that dominated the ########################################################################## 39 hours of opening.
But from Bayley's maniacal attack on Sasha Banks to the destruction of Braun Strowman and a victory of Raw's champion Alexa Bliss, there was something for everyone during the three hours, though the decisions of reservation regarding Roman Reigns continue to attract cross-examinations.
It would be just nice to see the WWE take more risks and move away from such a predictable mold, especially just a week after the kind of episode that teased a new direction had been taking place.

Roman Reigns saves Seth Rollins following the main event
The new intercontinental intercontinental champion title between new champion Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins received the main event status and a lot of time to work since the entries started at 22:28. AND. The 28-minute match that followed evolved quickly from a slow start and was even better than Ziggler's surprise win last week following the interference of Drew McIntyre. Rollins teased the crowd with four near-the-end drops that would likely have blown up the roof in San Diego, including expulsions after a Zig-Zag and a super-kick. Rollins then hit a superplex in a Falcon Arrow, but his pinning attempt was broken by McIntyre returning to shoot the referee and force disqualification. McIntyre blocked Ziggler inside the ring until Roman Reigns ran to put Ziggler out with a vicious spear on the ramp before punching Superman on McIntyre.
Given the success of the Ziggler-Rollins revenge, it was certainly difficult to get a DQ schmoz finish after almost 30 minutes of action. It was just as difficult to see WWE once again coming to Reigns' stubborn reservation for Babyface by making Rollins save him despite the fact that he was already involved in a rivalry with Bobby Lashley (see below) . Still, there is definitely a good reasoning behind the WWE's decision from a long-term reservation point of view (and the execution of the finish was well done and jumped the crowd ).
If that decision combined with rumors of Dean Ambrose's injury return to produce a reworked Shield meeting, it could just pay off in the long run. But show me someone who has already been tired by the forced feeding of Reign, who would have preferred it to be a clear victory for one or the other performer? Ziggler and Rollins deserved better tonight after the WWE finally stopped chasing after the evaluation match instead of putting its best bid in the main event to which it belongs. Grade: B +
Bayley viciously besieges Sasha Banks
Saying that they are too precious for Raw to be split, general manager Kurt Angle forced Bayley to team up with his ex-best-friend and rival Sasha Banks (with Ember Moon) in a six-team team match against the Riott team. Ruby Riott, meanwhile, continued the last backstage of his team by interrupting a Jinder Mahal photo shoot to break a camera.

The end came when Banks was distracted by the heels, allowing Riott to roll her from behind. The business grew as Bayley attacked Banks in a way that was in opposition to his character. Bayley screamed in his face before delivering "you think you're better than me" and leave. Subsequently, Angle told Bayley that she would attend a mandatory consultation or lose her job. After Raw, Angle told Banks the same thing in a video posted on Twitter.
It took a long time for us to get here, but the last two weeks have made the results of the rivalry between Banks and Bayley worth waiting. Seeing Bayley slam in such an aggressive way was the perfect exclamation point to establish an emotional connection with what was going on. Here's hoping that a SummerSlam match between the two is the long-term gain. Grade: B +
Brock Lesnar triggers change for extreme rules
Paul Heyman, Angle and Police Officer Baron Corbin entered the ring to announce that a loophole in Lesnar's contract allowed him to cancel the men's July 15 men's card match , designed to create his next match. opponent. Whenever Agle tried to explain the situation, he was interrupted by Reigns and then by Lashley, which resulted in an exchange of both on the mic.

Despite the alternating arrival, going back on the same misguided match as last week's episode turned out to be the first of a series of lazy strokes Monday by WWE creative. Happy for the fans, Reigns was fantastic at the mic before the match, delivering trashy speeches in such a real way that he brought back memories of his hard work against John Cena last fall. For the first time, the idea of a Reigns-Lashley rivalry was an encouraging idea. Although the origin of Lesnar's changes behind the scenes is uncertain, the development has potential given that the WWE has used multi-man matches as an uninspired crutch. Category B-
What else happened to Raw?
- Curtis Axel has defeated. Matt Hardy via pinfall: Team B made fun of the Deleters of Worlds during a pre-game promo in which they choked on the smoke that surrounded them. The match was brief and the spotlight worked out ended when Hardy slipped on the top rope after lifting Axel for a suplex. Axel fell over him for a clumsy spot and a pin. After a crazy celebration of Axel and Bo Dallas, Raw's team champions applauded their efforts, calling them "wonderful."
