WWE Raw Results, Recap, Notes: Despite two games for the title, this show was knockout in Milwaukee

One of the least entertaining and unsettling episodes of Raw for some time took place Monday night in Milwaukee, where despite the two titles played in the series, one could not help but wonder why WWE bookings were so uninspired and boring despite the potential of their bookings. the list provides. The intercontinental championship was defended in an open challenge format that was an opportunity for a surprising challenger; instead, we had the man who most often faced Rollins in the last six months.

There was a key development in the women's division, but it still had a bitter note because the segment it ended up in was an absolute disaster. Overall, this is one of the worst editions of Raw that WWE has published since WrestleMania 34, and that says a lot because there have been many failures – including last week.

Let's take a look at what happened – and what went wrong – at Raw.

Welcome to Baron Corbin Show

Raw began with Corbin, the interim general manager, in the ring with Bobby Lashley (who is now calling himself "The Almighty", wearing a leather vest with glasses) and Drew McIntyre. Corbin claimed that he would soon get the permanent role and remember who had joined him in his battle until the summit. He then greeted Braun Strowman – live via satellite from Birmingham, Alabama – who showed a macabre elbow and announced that he would be on the shelves for "a few weeks". Strowman assured that it would return 100% and would make everyone pay for the attack last week. Corbin then announced that the match was happening whatever happened to TLC, noting that Strowman would have to give up if he could not fight, which made Corbin GM permanent.

Bobby Lashley def. Elias by Tomb (No Disqualification): Elias interrupted the opening segment to say that Corbin was a terrible GM and made fun of Lashley before his match. Elias sought to get the 1-2-3 after a nudge of the top rope, but Lio Rush pulled out the ring umpire, resulting in a disqualification. Corbin resumed the game without DQ rules. Elias grabbed his guitar but was immediately attacked by the three men; he was pierced with a chair and received a slightshot face-to-face against the steel steps. Lashley then ran around the ring and propelled Elias in tribute to Strowman before rolling him into the ring and pinning Elias with one knee.

Behind the scenes in a selfie promo, Balor said that he had made the decision to have no choice but to stand up to Corbin and take charge of his career. Balor and Corbin have been booked for the main event – even if it's a match we've seen dozens of times recently – and that has also slipped.

Drew McIntyre & Baron Corbin def. Finn Balor falling on a pin: After dominating most of the match, Balor seemed to have beaten Corbin, who avoided a knockout, took a microphone and suddenly announced that it was now a handicap game. McIntyre was released, which quickly recovered after Balor welcomed him with a tope con hilo. Moments later, McIntyre took Balor out of the ring and hit him with the Claymore for the win. Lashley's music hit after the match and he hit it with the Yokosuka cutter. Corbin then hit Balor with End of Days, and McIntyre added another Claymore.

The crowd did not even boo; he was sitting there, surprised at the ridiculousness of the reservation. It is logical that Corbin abuses his authority and the destruction of faces by thinking that Strowman will return to the TLC, crush Corbin and get rid of it. But booking an entire episode of Raw around Corbin, Lashley and McIntyre – three heels having nothing in common or any reason to work together – going out Elias and Balor is just lazy. We'll have a clear team match next week and probably a six-man game before the TLC. Grade: D

Alexa Bliss takes control

After kissing behind the scenes of Corbin for doing a good job of enforcing the law on Raw, Bliss offered her help in every way possible. Corbin, noticing how busy he is in leading the show, gives him the opportunity to take over the entire Raw female division, which Bliss immediately accepts. Bliss then tried to have fun with Sasha Banks and Bayley, giving them a chance to participate in a question-and-answer session with the WWE universe in the middle of the ring later in the series.

In this segment, Bliss began to rent and try, but failed, to create a gap between Banks and Bayley. After a single question from a member of the public that neither Banks nor Bayley had a good answer to, Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke attacked Banks & Bayley from behind, knocking them off their directors' seats. Banks & Bayley quickly cleaned the house to end a segment.

It was stupid. Last night, during the Starrcade show, Brooke was a face teaming with Banks & Bayley. The fact that Bliss is put in this role is intelligent, because she is indefinitely left behind by concerns about concussions, but she used her new power to … Banks & Bayley attacked from behind for no reason and the attackers did they fail to do it? What exactly is the purpose of this when there is already a trio of heels in the Riott team that did exactly the same thing within the same time of the series? Grade: D

What happened to Raw?

  • Dean Ambrose gets vaccinated: In a recorded promo while sitting in a doctor's office, Ambrose praised fans and their disgusting nature, claiming he had decided he needed a whole range of vaccines before appearing on a other Raw. With six strokes already in the shoulder, Ambrose dropped his pants to take a long needle and tore up Seth Rollins. "There is no shower that can erase your sins, and there is no medicine that can guarantee the disease in your soul. You are a lost cause, Compadre," he says. It was much better than his promo of last week.
  • Lucha House Party def. Waking up by jamming: The Revival apologized for their loss last week for failing to understand "the rules of the house lucha"; after promising to win the game according to the rules of the game, it was again announced that the match would be played in the format against three against two. LHP was quick to use the rules to his advantage, to hit his finishers and win.
  • Nia Jax traps Ronda Rousey but does nothing: Jax, alongside Tamina Snuka, makes promos to Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, joking that Lynch and Rousey's career has been stunned since the beginning of the conflict. Jax claimed that she was the top of the mountain, which earned her a smiling smile. to loud songs. Rousey told Jax that she had been lucky several times, but that her luck was exhausted. Rousey promised to rip Jax's arm and slap Charlotte Flair on her face as the songs started again. Rousey immediately challenged Jax, but Jax refused it and began walking around voluntarily. It was then that Snuka went behind Rousey, which brought Natalya's music to play. However, when Natlaya ran into the ring, she was attacked at the edge of the ring by the Riott Brigade. Rousey ran to save her and the segment is over. Why does the Riott Brigade suddenly hate Natalya and why would Jax have planted them in this scenario when Snuka could have got rid of Rousey with her?
  • Raw Tag Team Championship – AOP (c) def. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable via pinfall to keep the titles: Before the match, his coach, Drake Maverick, had promised Roode & Gable to feel the fear he felt from Big Show when he had pissed her pants off. When the match began, Maverick stole Roode's dress, took it behind the scenes, placed it in a toilet and urinated on it. This was shown in the arena in the middle of the match while Roode & Gable had the advantage. Distracted, Roode was thrown into Gable, who was knocked down from the apron; AOP then hit their high powerbomb finisher. In fact, it sounds worse than when Maverick whistled Roode's musical theme while pissing was a good idea.
  • Ember Moon def. Alicia Fox via pinfall | Jinder Mahal def. No Way Jose via pinfall: With Curt Hawkins in his corner (?), Moon hits the Eclipse and beats Foxy. Then No Way Jose hit the music and a conga line ran the ring. After the advertisement, Mahal had some problems with Jose, but finally beat the Khallas for the win.
  • Intercontinental Championship – Seth Rollins (c) def. Dolph Ziggler via pinfall to keep the title: Without Ambrose in the arena, Rollins announced that he was returning to what he was doing better – being a champion in action. Rumors ran over people who would answer Rollins' open challenge, but the fact that it was Ziggler's action was a ridiculous one, given the frequency with which we have seen this game recently. That said, the match was great. Ziggler almost fell with a famous character and twice avoided a Stomp of Rollins, the second time in a Zig-Zag for two other accounts. The match had a light "that's great" singing as Ziggler gave up trying a superkick with Rollins unable to stand. Ziggler taunted him, so Rollins wrapped him in a cradle inside for a score of 2.8. Ziggler was ready for a top rope maneuver, but Rollins jumped, hitting the superplex in the Falcon Arrow for a rare non-finisher 1-2-3.
