My last appearance at the Sunday Night Main Event

– In memory of Vader …

Kurt Angle Talks: Constable Corbin is out with Angle and he asks for a good introduction. Angle said that he announced that the winner of the main event from Raw to Extreme Rules to define the next candidate under Lesnar. He mentions Heyman's social media posts about Lesnar having trouble negotiating and Roman Reigns arrives. I am sorry; THIS IS THE GREAT DAWG! Before Angle can continue, Lashley arrives. Lashley also wants to hear Lesnar's news. Lashley says that Reigns has failed for three years to beat Lesnar, and that he should move on. The man has a point. Reigns then takes a bullet to Lashley who moves away 10 years ago. Reigns makes fun of Lashley's Mash career, and says that Lashley has not done anything here, while Reigns has played for Mania four years in a row, and he's there every week. Lashley says he's the only one with the skills to beat Lesnar, and he'll prove it to Extreme Rules. Angle says that there are contractual problems with Lesnar and that there is no match of Extreme Rules contenders. Reigns says that Lesnar does what he wants and respects no one. Lashley says that if Lesnar had someone legitimate to face, someone who is not Reigns is a real challenge. Lesnar is tired of seeing Reign like all these people. Reigns then challenges Lashley for a match here and now. Angle considers a match between them for the extreme rules. The alarm arrives. They say it's a new week but the same old story. They want revenge with Reigns & Lashley and get it, nextIt was a good opening segment, but I find it really hard to worry about anything with Lesnar or Reigns right now.

The rebirth against Lashley and the reigns: The Renewal Attack but are easily repelled and thrown to the ground. Reigns & Lashley argue and Reigns walks to the ground and works on Dawson and brings him back. Reigns works and Lashley adds tags. The double teams follow, Dash dumps Reigns and this allows Dawson to attack Lashley. Dash tags in and double teams follow on Lashley. The Revival is working on Lashley in their corner and Dawson is basing the action. Go back and the double teams follow and the cover gets 2. Lashley hits a flatliner and Dawson scores as Reigns does. Reigns runs wild, lying in clotheslines and hits a big boot then takes Dash off the floor. Reigns searches for a superman punch, but then goes to the ground and kicks a kick. Post-breakand the Revival took control of Reign. Dawson and continues the attack. He has reigns to the ground, the labels dash back and cut the label. Dash now hangs on a cobra clamp, Reigns is fighting at his feet but is pushing himself back. Dawson comes back and puts the boots on Reigns. Reign fights, hits a Samoan drop and looks for etiquette. Wholesale changes to Dash and Lashley. Lashley starts throwing bodies around and hits the corner clotheslines and spinebusters. The delayed suplex follows, he looks for a spear, but Reigns himself scores a superman punch. Lashley distracts Reigns, Reigns hits a spear but Dash rolls him with tights for victory. The Revival defeated Lashley & Reigns @ 13:05 via pin [**½] It was a solid match, teasing more problems with Reigns & Lashley, but because of that, the win will mean nothing in the long run for the Revival.

– We are getting a promo from Matt & Bray, commenting on the parody of Team B from last week. They say that team B does not know what they are committed to.

Matt Hardy against Curtis Axel: Axel makes his Matt parody on the tron while Bo plays Bray. They start to cough in the fog, it was once again, hilarious in an Asylum movie. The tag title match takes place at Extreme Rules. Bo and Bray are at the edge of the ring. Matt attacks the bell, working on Axel in the corner. Axel pulls back, cuts himself and Matt follows him up and "Matt slips" an Axel falls on him and picks up the victory. Curtis Axel defeated Matt Hardy @ 0:55 via pin [NR] Go from the front

– Matt claps for Axel match.

– We have a reduction of problems between Banks and Bayley. Banks meets Angle. The AOP is running and running in Titus Worldwide. Titus makes a mistake of telling them to behave, angry at the monsters.

– Bayley speaks with a backstage of Alicia Fox. Angle says that Banks, Bayley and Moon will face Riott's team tonight.

The authors of Pain vs Johnny & Jimmy Boots & Tights: AOP kicks in the ass, and the last chapter finishes it. Bread writers defeated Johnny & Jimmy Boots and tights [NR] A reintroduction squash to give a program to AOP.

– AOP adds to a match after Titus Worldwide has stopped.

– Angle and Corbin argue, and Balor arrives and says that he wanted a shot at the Universal title, but he is upset that Lesnar canceled the game Extreme Rules. Corbin makes fun of him and Braun arrives and says that he feels bad to punish Owens so much and wants to score with Owens tonight. He wants to face Balor & Corbin. Angle is okay, so we have a little action Parejas Increibles tonight.

Alexa Bliss speaks: Mickie is back with Bliss, no reason to do it, but I'm always happy to see Mickie on TV. Mickie gives Bliss a great introduction after a rousey angle summary from last week. They put each other and Bliss goes down Rousey as a straight, and spoiled kid. Bliss says his MITB win was 100% legal and Mickie says it'll go down as an anal cash. They cackle like the evil and maniac villains that they are running the injured Jax and hanging Rousey. Bliss says that Jax thinks she's the hero and paints herself as a victim. Bliss says it works in movies and television, but in real life she's the hero. Natalya is coming now to talk about her friend Ronda Rousey. She reminds Bliss that MON AMI RONDA ROUSEY is back in 23 days. Bliss makes fun of Natalya for leaving her vacations at Total Divas and making fun of her for posting her story on social media. Natalya says that Angle has booked her in a match with Bliss. Natalya brought Jax back with her. The hell of a break for rehabilitation. Bliss was really good, just like Mickie, completely unfriendly, but I lost interest when Natalya started talking about her best friend, Ronda Rousey.

Alexa Bliss vs. Natalya: Jax & Mickie are at the edge of the ring. JIP as Bliss is in control. Natalya fights and works at her feet while Bliss tries to work a guillotine. Natalya escapes, but Bliss attacks his injured knee. Bliss puts things back in place, and takes a blanket for 2. Natalya escapes, gets up and strikes Michinoku. Bliss interrupts and knocks the knee and knees of the moon for 2. Natalya cuts it with clotheslines, and a suplex snap. The sweep of the Russian leg follows, Mickie distracts Natalya and Bliss is then cut by Jax. Natalya gets the sniper for the win. Natalya defeated Alexa Bliss @ 4:14 via submission [*] It was not good, the layout was generally mediocre, there was slow motion, and Natalya was completely stupid when Bliss had a title defense and a feud with Rousey. Of course, she is a stub and "got some of her own drugs," but losing to Natalya seems to be such a mess that her only character trait is "Ronda's friend" at this point. I also love how Natalya & Nia are magical friends of convenience after Jax tried to destroy her best friend.

– Rollins comments on losing the IC title last week, and says it's coming hard this week to take back the title.

– Jinder & Sunil are doing a random photo shoot. The Riott squad arrives and destroys the camera, committing more human rights violations. Sure why not.

The Riott Team (Riott, Morgan, & Logan) vs. Banks, Bayley and Moon: Logan and Bayley stand out, Banks scores and hits a meteor running for 2. Moon inserts, cuts himself, then fights Morgan and hits a flatliner. The faces clear up the ring and Moon commits suicide. Post-break, and Ruby works on Moon. The STO connects for 2. Ruby hits Bayley on the ground and the squad works on Moon behind the refs. The Moon fights against Banks, and it goes wild until Ruby cuts it and Bayley saves and gets dumped. He collapses on the floor while Banks lulls Ruby for 2. Ruby then rolls her out of the distraction and wins. The Riott squad defeated Banks, Bayley and Moon @ 7:00 via pine [**] The match went well, but the match angle was well played.

– Bayley then attacked Banks after the match and beat. Bayley then slams Banks at the stages and again. The quarrel was not going well, but when the WWE decides to trigger a trigger, they can do it. The crowd reacted in a big way to Bayley's turn, which was good because it hardly reacted at all lately. I am interested.

I talked about Bayley slamming / lighting up my last appearance on the Sunday Night Main Event

– Angle says that he has to do something about the Bayley / Banks situation. Kevin does not want to tag with Braun tonight because Braun is still trying to kill him. Angle thinks it may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Mojo Rawley vs. No Way Jose: Rawley beat Jose last week. He cuts a promo before game and says that he is embarrassed to be even here. He runs along the conga line and says that they did not win the right to come to a WWE ring and Jose either. Rawley runs the people of the conga. Rawley refuses revenge and then attacks Jose. So ok.

– Bayley meets Angle. Angle sends her to the consultation next week or she is fired. Oh, for love, what a beautiful way to follow a hot angle and drag things unnecessarily.

Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor and Agent Corbin: Corbin and Kevin to start. They lock up, Kevin attacks but Corbin hits a shoulder tackle. Kevin interrupts, but hits Corbin with a right. Balor beats and attacks, but Corbin scores immediately. Strowman adds Corbin tags and attacks, but Strowman cuts him off and identifies him in Kevin. Balor also marks. Kevin attacks, puts the boots on him and melts things. He hits Corbin on the ground, Strowman inside and they double the Corbin team. The cannonball follows. Post-break, and Balor founded Kevin. The final cut connects to 2 when Strowman stops. Tags Corbin and Kevin mark in Strowman. He hits the shoulder tackles and the splashes of the corner. Corbin's tags in Balor and Strowman lure him on and hammer him. Strowman throws Corbin and pursues Balor on the floor and attacks him and Corbin. He wants Kevin to take a turn and make tackles. He erases Balor, but Corbin cuts him off. Strowman attacks Corbin and takes him to the barricade. Strowman is posted and back in Balor Kevin blades. Corbin interposes but Balor pulls him out, but Corbin attacks Balor and they fight on the floor for a countdown. Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens defeated Finn Balor and Constable Corbin @ 11:35 via countout [**] The match went well with entertaining and fun moments, but I have absolutely no idea what he's accomplished.

– Kevin eventually runs away from Braun while Braun chases him to the back. We see Kevin still running and Braun is still chasing him.

– After the break, Kevin is still trying to hide. He has security protecting him while he tries to leave the building. He heads to the valet service and reveals that Braun has his keys. Braun says he's hoping Kevin has insurance and we see Kevin's car flipped over and smoking. Braun laughs and walks away.

– Braun is a dick, mocking Kevin's weight and destroying his hiring for no reason. I think in one way or another that the friendship opening of Braun is not on the rise.

WWE IC Title Match: IC Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins: McIntyre came out with Ziggler. Rollins attacks right away with a dropkick and Ziggler powders. Return to Ziggler and run to the ropes and take a break. Rollins now puts things in order and gets a cradle for 2. Ziggler fights at his feet and cuts Rollins in the ropes and follows with elbow drops. Ziggler now founds things, working a head to one side. Rollins fights at his feet, hits a hip shot and dropkick and Ziggler powders. Rollins follows Ziggler tries to attack, cuts himself and Rollins slams him to the barricade. McIntyre distracts him … Post break, and Ziggler is back in control, working on Rollins in the ropes after attacking the knee. Ziggler knocks a nudge for 2 but Rollins battles back and whips him the curls for the Bret Hart hump. Ziggler turns quickly, throwing Rollins to the ground. Back in and Ziggler covers 2. Ziggler follows with rights, speaks shit to fill time, and has more rights. Rollins tries to defend himself but Ziggler goes to sleep. Rollins fights to escape, does, and they work in a double down. Rollins picks up the pace, hits the sling blade and dumps Ziggler on the ground. Rollins gets tripped by Drew, allowing Ziggler to attack. The referee is now launching Drew at random even though he saw nothing. Rollins gets a roll for the ghost pin. Rollins now hits a suicide dive, taking both. Entered and Ziggler picks up and covers 2. Post-break, and Rollins escapes a sleeper and hits the knee ripcord for 2. They work on the apron, Ziggler fights and follows with a DDT apron to Rollins, and Rollins rolls upstairs. Rollins barely beats the count. Ziggler takes over and plays HBK, but the superkick is countered by a loop bomb and a superkick by Rollins for a good fall. Rollins comes first, but Ziggler arrives and cuts him, they fight and Ziggler is hit. Rollins goes high speed and connects to another well near the fall, and the crowd is really in the loop now. The Rollins go by the wayside, miss and they exchange roll ups like last week with both catching tights. Rollins is posted and Ziggler hits zigzag for a big near fall. Ziggler takes Rollins to the top, follows and Rollins changes position and teases a suplex on the ground. Rollins now hits the superplex and then does the deal with a falcon arrow but Drew takes out the referee for the DQ. Seth Rollins defeated the IC Champion Dolph Ziggler @ 27:50 via DQ [****] Personally, I hate to invest nearly 30 minutes in a game just to get a QD, but it was a good match. This should set up a match tag as early as next week, and perhaps Rollins vs. Ziggler in a stipulation match at Extreme Rules.

"They beat Rollins, but Reigns is slowly making his way to the rescue. he takes out Ziggler and fights with Drew and erases the ring, probably preparing for a match to come.

– End scene.

– Thank you for reading.

The 411

Apart from the main event, the episode of WWE Raw tonight was one of those shows "it's a show". It existed, nothing interesting was happening, a few things were advanced, but it was mostly things that happened to fill the time as if nothing really had any consequences. I loved Bayley's attack but I was not a fan of the tracking angle. If little time, catch the main event, it was a perfect match.
