SmackDown Live this week was a night of celebration. Tuesday night marked the 1,000th episode of the blue brand, launched in April 1999. SmackDown 1,000 was a show that featured everything from popular faces of the past to good heel matches. We even saw a change of championship. hands on the historical episode.

It was certainly a remarkable evening at SmackDown 1000, but if we've all learned one thing over the years, there's no party at WWE without featuring the family who is responsible for everything. And because SmackDown a thousand Tuesday night was so epic, the Patriarch himself even honored us with his presence very early.

WWE SmackDown 1000 results, grades

A McMahon-heavy opening segment: The thousandth historic episode of SmackDown began with an episode of "Truth TV", with R-Truth and Carmella in the ring to open the series after an incredible set of videos. Truth said that there have been many memorable moments in the story of "Truth TV", but none are like tonight. Carmella hugely reminded Truth that the show had only one episode. It was time to take a break of 7 seconds in the dance. After another dance break, Carmella said it was time to welcome their first guest and that Raw's current curator, Stephanie McMahon, went to the ring.

McMahon recalled that she was the first general manager of SmackDown and that she then had a vision. It's so nice to see his vision come to life. Before Truth could answer a question, the music of SmackDown's curator, Shane McMahon, sounded on the speakers until a huge pop (seeing that he had been away for a while). Shane said the first video film flooded him with memories, and he then thanked the fans for making SmackDown and the WWE so successful. Stephanie jumped out saying that Shane was just doing a bandage, and Shane then greeted her for the "A-show". To attract the attention of the crowd, Stephanie emphasized how much Raw was better, saying she would not start a Monday night segment with "Truth TV". Before the brothers and sisters were too warm with each other, it was time for daddy to step in.

Yes, "No Chance in Hell" hit, the place became ballistic and Vince McMahon entered the ring. Vince told his children that no one wanted to see them fight and bicker; people just want to be entertained. Vince wondered how people could be entertained, so he called for … a dance break! Vince danced in the ring with Truth, Carmella, Stephanie and Shane to salute the opening segment of SmackDown 1,000. Grade B +

Usos def. AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan via pinfall: The WWE Champion and his challenger at Crown Jewel worked well together for most of the match, until the very end. Bryan went to nail Jey Uso with a forearm but inadvertently connected to Styles. Styles pushed Bryan into a Usos super-free kick before feeding to give yours to Usos. Category B

GM SmackDown meeting behind the scenes: Behind the scenes, the camera showed that Paige was hanging out with Vickie Guerrero, in front of the man himself – and perhaps the managing director of the most remarkable blue brand in history – Teddy Long had come to do his signature dance. John Laurinaitis then headed to the shot to end the segment. Oddly, we really could not talk.

The meeting of the evolution becomes a little heated: The familiar theme of Evolution was played when the show came back from the ad, then Ric Flair, Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista. Triple H started thinking about how you can shoot 1,000 episodes. He said you do it by evolving. He said that the only way to celebrate this holiday is to bring back the group that embodies the word "evolution". Flair quickly picked up his microphone, just trying to make his way to get a positive reaction from the crowd. Orton said it was a pleasure to debut with ring men with him, he just broke his mouth to keep evolving; He even did a little dig in Batista's film career saying that he was spending more time these days in a makeup chair.

Batista took his turn at the end and said that he was a little nervous to get back in the ring, but he will enjoy it, and he will ignore what Orton said. Batista said everyone knows that the last place he wants to be is with the microphone in his hand. He admitted to having explained why he had come back for four reasons: he is back on the blue mark that he helped to build; they are in his hometown of Washington, D.C .; all fans of the building have brought it back, that they like it or hate it; and the other members of Evolution with him because of their particularity. "The Animal" then took the time to show why each of his fellow Evolution members was special. When he arrived at Triple H, however, things went bad. Batista said "The Game" did everything in his career – except beat him. The two men looked at each other a bit before kissing, but it is clear that they sowed the seeds of something on the road. Grade: A-

The Miz def. Rusev via pinfall (World Cup qualifying match): Miz got the stack after Aiden English distracted Rusev from the outside. After the match, Lana kicked English in the crotch and Rusev decimated her former friend outside. Grade: D +

"Cutting Edge" turns into chaos: Edge was a big hit in the announced "Cutting Edge" segment, and he said things would not get bigger than SmackDown 1,000. He had to be here because SmackDown always had the feeling of being his broadcast and he then went through his list of achievements of the blue mark. In recent weeks, however, he has seen something happen at SmackDown and he will try to become a moral compass. He first welcomed the SmackDown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch. Edge told Lynch that they had a lot of similarities and the champion said that she imitates Edge and is grateful to be present in the series. Edge said, like Lynch, that he had to scratch and scratch for everything he had. However, he does not believe that Lynch made the right choice by destroying his friendship with Charlotte Flair. From there, he explained to Lynch how, whatever his career, she will be alone one day to celebrate and end up not loving herself. Lynch agrees with Edge – she does not like it, but rather The loves is. She told Edge to come out of her ring and added a sneaky remark about being careful not to hurt her neck when going out.

Flair came out immediately and said that all that interests Lynch, is this title. That's why she ran to Super Show Down and last week before going through the LED panel. Flair said that if she loves herself, then she will love what she's doing to him now, and she's plunged into the right path. The two women got into a fight before the officials went out to separate them. Grade: A-

SmackDown Tag Team Championship – The bar def. New Day (c) to win the titles: Sheamus and Cesaro were about to tear New Day outside, when suddenly the song of Big Show hit. He came out and seemed to stalk the Bar, but instead, we had a tight bend with Big Show eliminating Kofi Kingston. In the ring, Big E was distracted and fell victim to Sheamus Brogue Kick for 1-2-3. We have new team champions at SmackDown. We must now know what is the relationship between Big Show and The Bar. Grade: C +

John Cena sends his congratulations: A pre-recorded promo broadcast with Cena. He recalled his debut in "Ruthless Aggression" during an episode of SmackDown where he challenged Kurt Angle. He added that 1,000 episodes would not happen without the fans. He expects a lot of others in the future.

Rey Mysterio def. Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall (World Cup qualifying match): As expected, the return of Mysterio was a success, as he began his new full-time career. Mysterio took the win after hitting the 6-1-9 followed by the frog splash. The field of the WWE World Cup is now over. Category B

Undertaker sends a message: As Mysterio celebrated his victory, the bell rang, the lights went out and The Undertaker walked slowly into the ring. Taker took the microphone and said that at Crown Jewel, he had only three words for D-Generation X: Rest in peace. SmackDown 1000 's ended with an Undertaker shot, fist raised at the top of the ramp.
