The 13-time world champion has returned from a knee injury at Extreme Rules and engaged in a bitter rivalry with Hardy.
Their quarrel was so intense that the former WWE champion even tried to snatch his enemy's ear with his bare hands at Smackdown two nights after his return.
But the Charismatic Enigma was able to take revenge by striking a beautiful Swanton bomb from the stands while the 38-year-old was lying on a wooden table.
Orton, however, prevailed at Hell in a Cell where he brutalized Hardy and sent him to the hospital where he was kept overnight.
The triple world champion, however, took Instagram and insisted he would be fine despite his injuries.
Orton appeared on Smackdown and hinted at a new rivalry warning that he would do much worse to his next victim.
The Viper is one of the biggest legends in WWE history, as it has beaten some of the best of all time like Triple H, The Undertaker and John Cena.
The former WWE champion showed a huge promise in the early 2000s beating some of the biggest heroes of the fight such as Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho.
These incredible achievements earned him the nickname The Legend Killer and led to a career worthy of the Hall of Fame.
Orton recently became a Grand Slam winner before WrestleMania 34 when he defeated Bobby Roode for the US championship.
