The 1000th episode of Smackdown will air on Oct. 16 at Capital One Arena in Washington and will feature the return of The Undertaker.
Undertaker, however, will probably not be in action as he tends to compete only at major WWE events, such as WrestleMania.
However, WWE alluded to the return of more legends and expressed its wish to see them play in the square circle against the brightest stars of the blue mark.
WWE included graphics on Facebook Daniel Bryan against Kurt Angle, WWE Champion AJ Styles against Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair against Michelle McCool, Sheamus and Cesaro against APA and Samoa Joe against Batista.
The WWE Hall of Famer Angle is fighting part-time for WWE and has been managing director of RAW until recently.
Mysterio made some exceptional appearances for Vince McMahon's company when he returned to the Royal Rumble Match last January and also participated in the first Greatest Royal Rumble Match three months later.
McCool also made a surprise return to the Royal Rumble and played in the first royal fight of 30 women.
Batista's last match came in 2014 when his Evolution teammates Randy Orton and Triple H lost to The Shield.
Dave Bautista then made his name in Hollywood by distinguishing himself in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and in Avengers: Infinity War.
JBL and Ron Simmons also did not compete long since their last team match was in 2004 against Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty.
Simmons retired after that night and only made a few appearances without a fight later.
JBL then had a great career in singles by becoming WWE Champion and beating Undertaker, Big Show and Eddie Guerrero.
None of these legends were confirmed on the show, as the WWE only played fantastic matches that it would like to see in the historic episode of Smackdown.
They wrote a caption that said, "With the 1000th episode of WWE SmackDown Live on the horizon, can we have these matches, please?"
Some of the best stars of the blue brand will participate in the event and all the champions seem in action.
WWE Champion Styles, US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch and Team Champions Smackdown The New Day are expected.
They will be joined by Bryan, Samoa Joe, Miz, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Carmella, Asuka and Charlotte.
