The pay-per-view WWE Survivor Series is an event where the Smack down and Monday evening alignments meet for battle. It is also a night when surprise appearances are possible, the WWE being known to surprise viewers before, during and after the action in the ring. Even "fired" wrestlers have returned before, although it seems that the brand does not plan to welcome newly fired wrestler Enzo Amore, who is making her comeback. The former superstar was forcibly removed by security after a noisy scene during Survivor Series.
Enzo Amore was removed after an attempt to "misappropriate" the attention of the crowd during a match. Amore stood in her chair, made high-decibel wrestling promos and drove those in her immediate neighborhood by reciting her old slogan "How are you?"
Members of the crowd who quickly surrounded Amore were heard repeating the song, although it was interrupted when the security guard intervened and pulled the wrestler back from his chair. There have been a lot of scandals and shocked exclamations, but it is unclear whether this reaction was entirely related to the dismissal of Enzo or only to what was happening in the ring.
What we do know is that some fans felt that Enzo Amore's physical removal was unfair. Amore also seems to share this idea, as he was trying to regain his seat (probably paid) while security was trying to get him out of the arena. The New York Post reported that Amore was indeed not allowed to return to his seat, but that the former WWE wrestler was allowed to free himself without further incident once that was done. He had agreed to leave the arena.
In a business where the boundary between reality and entertainment is often blurred, some might think that Enzo Amore's scene was an "event" or fake event designed to give a real appearance in order to engage the audience in a scenario predefined. The failure of the WWE to respond to Amore's attempts to disrupt Survivor Series would indicate otherwise, not to mention the way it was treated. Of course, some might argue that pretending that this does not happen could also be part of WWE's job, selling the angle further.
Although Amore has not been officially hailed by the WWE brand, he has apparently received recognition from someone listed on the brand's list. Amore's ex-girlfriend and current WWE superstar, Liv Morgan, sent a vague tweet during the festivities, which seemed to be referring to the dismissal of his ex-handsome Staples Center .
Enzo Amore's attempt to interfere in the PPV comes 10 months after the WWE dismissal in January after charges of sexual harassment and assault. The case was filed without charge in May 2018 and Amore attempted to restore her fight brand through independent wrestling attempts and a career in rap. Amore was banned from the Survivor series just days after making headlines a few days ago for being fired from a commercial aircraft for being vape.
Survivor Series monitoring will continue Monday evening, aired the United States on Monday at 20:00 ET. Maybe then they will evoke the antics of Enzo Amore.
