However, XXXTentacion confessed to the crimes committed in a recently released secret – and profaned – record obtained by Pitchfork from the Miami-Dade County Attorney General's Office.

In addition to threatening to "kill" his ex-girlfriend, XXXTentacion also admitted to other crimes.

"I'm on (Miami) New Times for stabbing, how many people have they told the news? They said three, he was eight," he's boasted, referring to an incident in Deerfield Beach in 2016 and of which Pitchfork still has not solved the problem. He said the acts of violence solidified in him the fear of his former girlfriend: "She saw that (expletive) … She knows."

But the Florida native was a controversial figure and had many troubles with the law.

According to Ayala's statement, he sometimes beat her, choked her, broke her leg hangers, threatened to cut her hair or cut her tongue, put knives or scissors in her face and kept his head under the water in their bathroom, promising to drown it.
