An independent photographer in the United States has seen his research online to find a mysterious couple becoming viral … but still has not located the pair.
Matthew Dippel captured the moment on October 6 in Yosemite National Park, California, waiting to take a picture of his friend Josh.
He usually works in a bar in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but he visited Yosemite during a road trip from Seattle to Los Angeles.
The National Park, with its spectacular cliffs and magnificent waterfalls, was a must for the self-taught photographer.
"It's been a while since I'm on my list," he told the BBC. "Yosemite is an amazing place to take pictures, but honestly, it's hard to take a bad picture."
"I had seen a lot of very nice pictures of Taft Point and I wanted to see it for myself.We had planned to go there at sunset and then, you can see what s & # 39; Then passed. "

Matthew usually says that he prefers to photograph concerts and not weddings or engagements
"I had everything ready for my camera and so I had to move it away," he said. "But the couple left before him, so I was in the right place at the right time.
"I sort of checked my environment to make sure not to encroach on another photographer's work, but there was no one next to me."
After taking Josh's shots, Matthew says that he ran to the point to try to find the couple who would show them.
But he has come in search of dozens of people, including three or four other dressed couples, ready to pose.

He asked about 20 of them but none was the couple on his picture.
Matthew then asked the Internet to find them a few days ago, after sorting the photographs on his return from travel.
Since then, it has been shared and appreciated hundreds of thousands of times, attracting much more attention than expected by Matthew.
"I really really wanted to know who people were to deliver this picture to, because I think it's a super special moment that they could hang on to."

The reactions to the photo were not all positive – some internet users accused it of having simulated the image, amateur detectives showing the evidence of the unusual elegant dress of the couple.
"Everyone really supported me and came to my defense with people who are trying to question the validity of the photo.It is not staged at all.I do not know the couple, I'm just trying to find out who they are, "Matthew said.

Although the view is breathtaking, it is not particularly difficult to get to where the pictures were taken.
The official National Parks website indicates that there is only a "moderate" round trip of 3.5 km to Taft Point from Glacier Park Road, where you can park.

An Instagram search confirms the spot's popularity, with some women even wearing wedding dresses for their own photos.
Despite a few days without success, Matthew still believes that the mystery couple could find the photo and his research.
