You receive a message "Do you have another friend request message" in your Facebook inbox? It's a hoax

The latest Facebook hoax is causing concern and confusion for many users.

Users receive a message from a friend who says:

"Hi … I actually received another friend request from you yesterday … that I ignored so that you wanted to check your account. Tap and hold the message until the Resend button appears … and then tap Transfer and all the people you want to resend as well … I had to treat them individually. Good luck!"

Confused? You are not the only one and there is a simple way to avoid it. Technical expert Burton Kelso said it was a hoax and you can stop giving this last warning to your friends about piracy.

Kelso said the best thing to do is simply ignore it and delete it.

"Sometimes Facebook accounts are cloned and hackers send out phishing emails from your friends to trick them into clicking a link that will infect them."

The best way to prevent your Facebook account from being cloned is to hide your list of friends. From now on, ignore the message "You have another friend request from you".
