Young Celtics are not afraid of Joel Embiid

The Boston Celtics won the season with a 105-87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the opening of the NBA season, thanks to a flawless domination by the youth. It was not Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, or Al Horford who led Boston, it was the 20-plus-year-olds who winked and (half) forced themselves to become "W. Emphatic.

Playing against Joel Embiid, the players tend to be more expressive, and one shot of Terry Rozier at a time was true. The combination of the leader, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, even allowed Embiid to admit after the game that Celtics-Sixers was not at all a rivalry because of its one-sided nature.

"NOT A WORD. mentioned, it's not a rivalry, "he said. "I do not know our record against them but it's really bad. They always kick our ass.

During postmortem post mortem, Philly probably had three strong points of a trio brain (Tatum, Brown and Rozier), whose combined age is younger than Gregg Popovich!

Jayson Tatum winked at Embiid after crossing

Tatum stormed Embiid and set a course on the middle distance that virtually ended this match. It was an isolation game and Tatum prepared it.

Embiid prepared Aron Baynes, a skyscraper of the same size that he knew he could carry to the brink and went to work. He would have pushed him to the block and grabbed a hook as he had done so many times before.

But no. A 6'1 Celtic with super jumps and a relentlessness to have the audacity to actually jump and try to block someone one foot up broke that plan.

Jaylen Brown has disrespected Embiid the worst

I will clarify some things from the start:
a) I know that Embiid has a little blocked shooting
b) I'm mad
c) It was not a dunk
d) I'm still crazy
e) It was dope

Marking on the ground at full speed, Brown took an Irving pass and decided to launch against Embiid with an impossible height and a dunk on his existence. Who else but Celtic post-teenagers would try this chaos?

The opening night allowed us to play two consecutive games with four of the league's brightest teams and many virtual players, but that's what we'll remember.
