Three Ypsilanti community district schools are in "progressive lockdown" after a man barricaded himself in a nearby house and threatened to blow him up Tuesday morning, police said.

Police activity has since been resolved in the 1300 block of Crestwood, Ypsilanti Township, but residents must still avoid the area, officials said, and ACCE High School (Achieving Career & College Education Ypsilanti Community Middle School and Erickson Elementary are still in operation.
