Following reports that Henry Cavill is leaving Superman, Justice League Director Zack Snyder went to Vero to share a behind-the-scenes image of the film featuring all the heroes together.

In the photo that seems to have taken place at the end of the film after the heroes had defeated Steppenwolf, we can see the UnitedThe league of justice stands side by side for what would have been their first time. Another highlight of the photo is to see how the majority of heroes were able to decorate practical versions of their costumes, while Ray Fisher was wearing a motion capture suit that would later become the look of Cyborg.

This is not the only reaction to the announcement of Snyder's split on Vero, having also shared a storyboard from the first time Superman took flight Steel man by adding the caption below, "this is not an" S "." This is a reference to a scene later in the film in which Superman tells Lois Lane that the symbol on her chest represents hope as opposed to a letter from the English alphabet.

Although no official plan has been announced for another movie starring Superman, DC Extended Universe fans have not been nervous about separating from Cavill, since he always seemed eager to advance as a character. We learned earlier this week that there had been contract negotiations for a Shazam!, with complications apparently resulting in a separation between Cavill and the studio.

Naturally, these rumors tore the Internet apart, some being relieved that Cavill was moving on while others were crushed to no longer see the actor become Superman. The actor himself, however, came on Instagram late in the day to share a video of himself wearing a shirt with "Krypton" while playing with one of his figurines Superman. It was unclear whether this was intended to confirm or invalidate the reports, but that implied that he still likes the character.

The Batman of Ben Affleck, meanwhile, is still changing, while reports have been circulating for years that the actor wanted to distance himself from the role, despite the lack of official word about his status with the future of DCEU.

The next step for DC is Aquaman, who arrives in theaters on December 21st. Shazam! should arrive in theaters on April 5, 2019, while Wonder Woman 2 will be released on November 1, 2019.
