USA Softball is aiming for gold Tuesday morning against Japan at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The Americans posted a perfect 5-0 record in the group game and will face the Japanese in the first softball gold medal game since 2008. USA Softball has won one in two gold medals (1996, 2000, 2004) since the sport’s introduction at the 1996 Olympics.
