KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (WVLT) – A Florida elementary school teacher was unaware of the answer she would get when she posted on social media on September 4, one of her students, a fan of Vol.

In just over a day, Laura Snyder 's Facebook post received over 2,000 comments and shares after posting a photo of her young student' s fortune t – shirt Vol.

In his message, Snyder said, "Last week my elementary school took part in the College Colors Day, and when I told my students that day, this child came to tell me wanted to wear a Tennessee university shirt, but he did not have one. "

Snyder said his student was "EXCITED" to wear an orange shirt. When college day color arrived, she was surprised to find that he had made a makeshift label in TU for the shirt.

However, Snyder said that other students had intimidated him by the sign and that he "was DEVASTATED". Snyder said that she wanted to get her a UT shirt and asked her Facebook friends if anyone had any links with UT.

Little did she know that her request would get such an answer! The position had been open less than two days when the University of Tennessee responded.

Jim Delaney, UT's Associate Sport Marketing and Experience Director, told WVLT News that the position had been shared earlier on September 5th.

"As a marketing expert and fan experience, I absolutely loved the creativity that he demonstrated there, and this was passed on to us at the team. football and campus here at the Vol Shop, so we all got together, and we sent him what we call a proud group of volunteers. "

Delaney added, "I think he'll go from making his t-shirt to the urge of school."

Snyder said she was grateful that her message received such an answer.
