Vaccination appointments are all booked in Riverside County

Riverside County has made more appointments available for residents eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine.

The county has more than 11,000 additional appointments available at all RUHS-Public Health clinics from January 19 to January 22. ruhealth.org/covid-19-vaccine.

Seniors who need help registering can call 2-1-1. The county said it has upgraded these phone lines to help as many residents as possible.

In Riverside County, people 65 and older can get their coronavirus vaccine, as can adults of all ages if they work in education, law enforcement, food, and health. agriculture and emergency services.

This group constitutes phase 1B as part of the county’s vaccine distribution. People of all levels in phase 1A can also be vaccinated.

  • For employees in Phase 1A and 1B – Level 1, an appointment and workplace employee badge / letter are required or you will not be vaccinated
  • For those aged 65 and over, an appointment and an identity document are required.

Having trouble planning a COVID vaccine in Riverside County? Here is what you need to know

The clinics will provide vaccines free of charge, however, you must register before your arrival, have an appointment and present proof of eligibility (badge, commercial ID, proof letter from employer). Information on medical insurance will be requested.

The county has partnered with the local Albertsons and Ralphs to distribute the vaccination. However, a representative of Albertsons told News Channel 3 the grocer is no longer scheduling immunization appointments at his Riverside County stores as they are full until the end of January.
