The most anticipated film of recent times, Uppena hits screens on February 12, after a long wait. At Gulte.com, we’re happy to have had an exclusive chill-out session with the film’s lead cast, Vaishnav Tej, Krithi Shetty and director Buchi Babu Sana.
Asked how Krithi feels about the warm and awe-inspiring reception to the Telugu film industry, she says she’s lucky for it and that Uppena’s character brought her closer to the audience and she thanked director Buchi Babu Sana for that.
When asked if Vaishnav Tej is ready for the “ Mega ” entry, Vaishnav laughs and says he doesn’t feel a thing now, but the day before the release might strain him about the mega entry.

I don’t need three. I just need one. I wish everyone in the world were happy
If you are arrested without an explanation, what would your family think?
They will fight to find out why I was arrested, because they know that I will not do anything to get me arrested. In this case, I will call them first and tell them what I did and why I am not in jail.

I think of the introductions, the characters and the climax.

He is the sweetest, very calm and a great actor
If the world ends tomorrow, what are the three things you would like to do?
I would love to spend time with my family and friends, that’s all.

My parents

A good actress!
The actor you would like to work with?
It really depends on the script. But I would love to work with Ram Charan garu.
What is one motivational quote that you follow in your life?
It keeps changing depending on the situation. I try to be stress free and happier.
When was the last time you screamed and why?
I think that was when the trailer came out and because I loved it so much.
If you were directing a movie, who would you choose as your cast and what genre would you choose?
I don’t think I can make a movie and it’s a big job (showing Buchi Babu)
The most underrated actor in the industry and why?
Karthikeya. He did very well as a hero and a villain.

I was fortunate to be born into a family that helps me further my career, but a lot of talented people don’t have enough freedom to take their chance. I would like to help them get their chance and their freedom.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Make my parents happy, I always feel like they always gave me and I want to give back to them with more effort.
