A player from Valheim recreated The Elder Scrolls V: High Hrothgar Monastery from Skyrim in the open world survival title, and it’s very impressive.

A Valheim the player took the time to recreate Skyrimof High Hrothgar Monastery in-game, and it’s nothing short of an awesome sight. Although it just hit Steam Early Access this month, Valheim is already taking the world by storm. In less than three weeks of availability on the platform, developer survival title Iron Gate has managed to sell a staggering three million units.

As a 1-10 player experience, the game drops warriors slain in battle in the 10th Nordic Kingdom of Valheim to withstand the harsh elements and defeat the mythical creatures that roam. However, there’s more to it than that, as players can craft and build anything from weapons and frost arrows to fermenters and roads as well. Valheim players are also becoming more and more creative, putting the different systems of the title to the test.

Reddit user McBadWord went above and beyond when it came to setting Valheim crafting and building mechanics to good effect. Not content with just building a house or road network, the player has completely recreated the High Hrothgar shrine – home to the Graybeards in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In Skyrim, High Hrothgar sits atop Tamriel’s highest mountain and can be accessed via the seven thousand steps that surround said mountain. McBadWord seems to have followed the locale spec as closely as possible with their homage in Valheim. Even the interior spaces exhibit remarkable attention to detail.

The dedication and care fans put into projects like this never cease to amaze. This Valheim also fostered this level of creativity less than three weeks after launching its Early Access. It should also be noted that High Hrothgar’s role as the basis for such dedication is particularly apt, given Skyrim influence on Valheim development.

Developer Iron Gate released Valheim on Steam Early Access earlier this month, a status that is expected to continue throughout this year. At this time, it’s unclear when the studio will release the full co-op survival title, but players need not be concerned about Iron Gate’s commitment to the project. Several major updates are planned throughout Valheim Early Access Period, including ones that add moon phases, sandbox mode, an all-new biome, and a number of unspecified combat upgrades.
