Valve announced on Friday that its final Steam Next Fest will arrive the first week of October, providing access to playable demos of hundreds of upcoming PC games.

A video teaser showed previews of a few games to expect to see in demo, including air head by Octato Games, Unexplored 2: The traveller’s legacy by Ludomotion, YEAR: Modify by Thinking Stars, Mahokenshi by Game Source Studio, Starship Troopers – Terran Command of The Artistocrats, Delta’s life Airo Games, and more. And IGN reported that The last campfire, from Hello Games, the creators of No Man’s Sky, will also have a playable demo available as part of Next Fest.

Players can “explore the latest from veteran developers and newbies,” according to the promo video.

Valve has held these online events for PC games every few months to try to fill the void of in-person game and developer events that have been canceled or postponed by the coronavirus pandemic. Originally called the Steam Game Festival, Valve changed the name to Steam Next Fest with its June 2021 event. For developers, this is an opportunity to get direct fan feedback on their upcoming games, because in addition to giving to players access to game demos, the event will include live broadcasts with the developers.

Steam Next Fest opens October 1 at 1 p.m. ET and ends October 7.
