Vanessa Bryant has heard of Meek Mill’s new song that references her husband, and she – like countless others – is not happy about it.

Vanessa slammed Meek Mill in an Instagram story on Monday night, calling her new line on Kobe and the helicopter crash that killed him, their daughter and seven other people “extremely callous and disrespectful.” Period.”

“I don’t know any of your music, but I believe you can do better than that,” she wrote in part. “If you’re a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. It lacks respect and tact.

Meek Mill defends the song

The lyrics to Meek Mill’s new unreleased song, which would have been titled “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe)”, were.

“That shit I’m fucking in, always tell me she likes it but she never showed me,” the song says. “Yeah, and if I ever miss, I go out with my helicopter, it’ll be another Kobe.”

Lil Baby is also on the song and would reference Kobe and Gianna – although does so in a much, much better way.

“… have a son, then I can call him Kobe / Daughter Gigi,” he said.

Obviously, considering the deaths of Kobe, Gianna and the others, Meek Mill’s words didn’t suit many. Him, however, as he often does.
