Vanessa Bryant tears Meek Mill apart over Kobe Bryant benchmark

[ad_1]

Vanessa Bryant has finally spoken about the recent controversy surrounding rapper Meek Mill and his reference to Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant. It’s safe to say that she isn’t entirely happy.

The widow of the great Lakers took offense at the rapper’s choice of words in his recent track. In the leaked song titled “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe),” the rapper referred to the tragic death of the five-time NBA champion, and Vanessa believes his bar is “extremely disrespectful“.

The 38-year-old took to Instagram to express her fury at Mill’s line about the former Lakers star and lambasted the rapper.

“Dear @meekmill, I find this line extremely callous and disrespectful. Period. I don’t know any of your music, but I think you can do better than that, ”Vanessa posted in her IG Stories. “If you’re a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. It lacks respect and tact.

Vanessa Bryant has a point here.

Even if we give Mill the benefit of the doubt, it’s hard to argue against Kobe Bryant’s wife. Even if you say he just bowed his hat to the Lakers legend with the name drop, it’s probably not the best idea to refer to someone’s tragic death in a line on someone with who you are sleeping.

Here’s how Meek Mill’s bar looks in “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe)”:

“That bitch I’m fucking king always tells me she loves but she never showed me,” Mill said. “Yeah, and if I ever miss, I go out with my helicopter, it’ll be another Kobe.”

For what it’s worth, after Vanessa sent the story to IG, Mill sent a tweet apparently in response.
