Some users are reporting issues with the Vanguard, TD Ameritrade, and Charles Schwab online trading platforms.

There were over 2,700 reports on DownDetector on Wednesday morning of users experiencing issues with Vanguard. More than 15,000 users reported issues with TD Ameritrade around 10 am ET Wednesday, and Charles Schwab’s trading platform received 2,700 user complaints.

Spokesmen for Charles Schwab and Vanguard did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.

In an email to Insider, TD Ameritrade confirmed that some of its clients may experience “slowness” or difficulty accessing their accounts on the mobile platform “due to high volumes.” The company has since told Insider in a follow-up email that the issue has been resolved.

“Customers can access their accounts and transactions are processed as usual on all TD Ameritrade platforms,” TD Ameritrade told Insider.

Charles Schwab tweeted confirming that “some clients are having problems with online trading” and that he is working to resolve the issue. He advised customers not to relocate transactions as they could be duplicated due to the technical issue.

While attempting to access Vanguard, an Insider reporter saw the error message, “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and could not complete your request.”

The reports come as the stock market continues to suffer from a frenzy surrounding the game company GameStop. Members of the Reddit r / WallStreetBets forum have collectively and deliberately outbid GameStop’s stock since Jan. 11, prompting new investors to join in on this heated opportunity. The company’s shares soared more than 1,200%.

The Reddit r / WallStreetBets page appeared to be down for a brief period on Wednesday morning.
