The best pound-to-pound fighter in the world will be back on Friday when unified lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko will defend his title in Los Angeles.
Lomachenko, a two-time Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine, is expected to face IBF title holder Richard Commey in a unification fight that was canceled after Commey injured his right hand. Instead, Lomachenko faces mandatory challenger and former WBA holder Anthony Crolla of Britain in the Staples Center's main competition.
