Mayor of Cumana: There was no looting but a confrontation that killed three people

The General Direction of the Municipality of the Municipality of Sucre ( Cumaná ) of the State of Sucre, denied that the morning of this Thursday, July 5, a attempt of looting took place at the municipal market .

The municipal police explained that at 11:00. a person nicknamed " El Pulga " and his gang, tried to rob a woman in the premises of the municipal market of Cumaná. According to the mayor's statement, a man was stabbed to death.

In the confrontation three members of the group were killed: "El Pulga", Andrys Alexander Jiménez and an unidentified individual. The security forces remained on the market while waiting for the Corps of Scientific and Criminal Investigations ( Cicpc ).
