Officially, Ronda Rousey is a legend of the UFC
This Thursday night, Rousey marked the story back to the UFC by becoming the first woman immortalized in her Hall of Fame .
Rousey was the first female champion of the UFC, holding the bantamweight belt from 2012 to 2015, defending it six times. He won his first 12 professional games, all by submission, most of which finished in less than a minute.
"It's a great honor, not only to participate in bringing women to the forefront of this sport, but now in the UFC Hall of Fame," said Rousey in a statement. "I hope to be the first among so many others."
Rousey has the record of four of the five most complete Rapide in the history of roosters in UFC women
The former champion of Judo and Olympic Bronze Medalist was one of the most dominant and popular athletes that the sport has ever seen.
Rousey had a sense of KO unbeaten in the second round against Holly Holm in 2015. She came back a year later but was again eliminated, this time in just 48 seconds of the first round against Amanda Nunes.
Rousey has not participated in mixed martial arts since this defeat. He signed with WWE in January 2018.
