President Maduro has ratified the senior positions of the national armed forces

Caracas .- The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified on Saturday, July 7, General Vladimir Padrino López as Minister of Defense.

"I decided to ratify the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, an honest, exemplary and loyal man like anybody.I appreciate all your efforts!", He said at of a joint graduation ceremony. the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb).

Padrino López was appointed Minister of Defense in October 2014, replacing Carmen Meléndez.

In addition, he ratified Remigio Ceballos, as strategic operational commander of the Bolivian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), Jesús Rafael Suárez Chourio as commander-in-chief of the army and also ratified General Richard López Vargas as commander of the National Guard.

On the other hand, the head of state named Pedro Alberto Juliac as new commander of the military aviation and Giuseppe Alessandrello as new commander of the Navy.
