Jesús Aguilar won last place in the National League for the All-Star Game

Caracas .- Milwaukee Brewers front-rowman Jesus Aguilar and the Seattle Mariners' short stoppage, Jean Segura, won the last two places for next week's All-Star Game in Washington.

Major leagues released Wednesday online voting results for the last available places in each league. Aguilar received 20.2 million votes for its first All-Star designation. This is the second highest total in history, just behind the 20.8 million votes that Justin Turner won last year.

Aguilar, 28, was tied with the National League with 23 homeruns and became Milwaukee's fourth representative with the Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich Championships and reliever Josh Hader.

Segura ends up with the last available spot in the American League by accumulating 13.6 million votes. He was followed by Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi, Yankees hitter Giancarlo Stanton, Minnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario and Los Angeles striker Andrelton Simmons.

The Dominican defeated 28 year old for 329 and is second in the major leagues with 116 hits. He will join Seattle teammates Nelson Cruz, Edwin Diaz and Mitch Haniger in the all-star game. Segura, who went to the national league semi-season in 2013 with Milwaukee, is the first Seattle player to win the final fan vote.

In the National League vote, Giants Brandon Belt's first goal was second, followed by Max Muncy of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Trea Turner of the Washington Nationals and Matt Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals.
