( Caracas, July 16. News24 ) .- The governor of the state of Zulia, Omar Prieto, announced the regeneration of the electrical system in the region, through autotransformers activated in the post of Cuatricentenario in Maracaibo.
The regional chief explained that with the support of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), the technicians of the National Electric Corporation (Corpelec) and the government of Zulia, this Sunday, July 15, the ignition autotransformers were made
These autotransformers have a capacity of 400 to 230 KV, to provide a voltage to the distribution of electrical energy of the region . With the support of Corpoelec, the cargo was injected into the second self-processing bank of 400/230 kV Cuatricentenario substation with 250 MVA
He said that to stabilize Zulia's electrical system, 3 million dollars were invested in this work. that the works are supervised by the Minister of Electrical Energy, Luis Motta Domínguez, who has been installed in the state to follow up and ensure that the Zulia people can count between 45 and 60 days on a service stable.
He indicated that to continue to work on the megaprojects that will ensure the safety of electrical service in the state which include those of the Puente station on the lake, the sub-interconnection lacustrine and installation of the turbogenerator in Termozulia, among others, which will activate more than 850 megawatts.
