It is the Social Pact for Non-Discrimination and Equal Treatment that the Ministers of Health and the Interior, María Luisa Carcedo and Fernando Grande-Marlaska, respectively presented today and which establishes a series of actions in the fields of health, work, education and science.

"A society that discriminates is not a fair society, nor decent," said Carcedo, who emphasized during the presentation of the plan on scientific advances against the HIV but he acknowledged that there were still challenges to be met, such as ending the stigmatization of the virus.

In Spain, each year, approximately 3,400 new cases of HIV48% are late, and this, added the minister, has "a lot of responsibility" for discrimination that has not been eradicated.
