Silvestre Dangond, singer of vallenato, is preparing a new version of the popular "Santo Cachón", launched by the group "Los Embajadores del Vallenato" in 1997.

The reissued version of Dangond will be part of a tribute album to several hits produced by Iván Calderón and expected to appear at the end of the year.

Composer Robinson Damián, author of "Santo Cachón", also participates in the recording.

Social networks have leaked images of the video, in which they try to imitate the scenography of the original video.

Dangond, originally from La Guajira, is the author of twelve albums. This year, he received the Latin Grammy Award for best album from Cumbia or Vallenato for his production "Esto es vida".
