Tuesday, November 27, 2018.- Friday, November 23, in front of the headquarters of the Attorney General's Office on the University Avenue of Caracas, a group of peasants from the state of Barinas accompanied Raul Rivas. his brother Tomas Rivas, they murdered him, he was shot in the leg and taken to a pen where he was tortured and finally murdered with a bullet in his head. The act was perpetrated by armed gangs supposedly formed by paramilitaries and members of our armed forces., according to his statements.

They handed a document to the prosecutor's office where they explained in detail the case of what happened in the herd where the Porcino Batalla complex of Santa Inés is located.

This herd, owned by PDVSA, was handed over to the peasants, but unfortunately they could not continue because their participation was interrupted because the paramilitaries and gangs controlled by them had submitted them, said Raul Rivas.

The peasants took over the Las Garzas herd, but they were constantly besieged by paracos, delinquency and landowners who do not want them to be there.

Rivas continues his story: 19 in hours of At dawn, in the night, a group of these people, there were civilians and the National Guard, attacked this flock at seven o'clock in the evening.

We are here to formally request the opening of a thorough investigation into the facts surrounding the murder of our compatriot, brother and comrade Tomás Ernesto Rivas.

We also ask that:

A- It is possible to identify all the material and intellectual authors of the murder.

B- A special prosecutor of national jurisdiction is appointed, which has no connection with the state where the events took place.

C- That the filing of the lawsuit be asked to a court of Caracas, knowing that there are clearly mechanisms of pressure that can influence the outcome of the investigations.

D- That the actions of the police forces involved in the lifting of the event be reviewed.

E- Examine the actions of the prosecutor who pleaded the case to Barinas and the judge, as they protect the Paracos and the National Guards who participated.

F- Special Protection of the Venezuelan State for Citizen Yuribí Hernández Molina and paramilitary attack survivors, key witnesses of the events.

Unfortunately, there have been more than 1,300 paramilitary killings in the field and, in association with the National Guard, we must do something because it is no longer fair to continue killing the peasants because they have been killed. they do not want to deliver the land because they charge tolls.

What we want is for the state to hold on to these mercenaries and look for those accomplices who are part of the National Guard and its repressive organs, such as police organizations.
