Dayren Yoely Navaeda Sanchez, 23, was last seen on 22 November. The neighbors were surprised by his sudden disappearance. Carrera took the children to her sister's home on the pretext that the mother had gone to work in the family home to raise money to go to Colombia. Later, he settled in the victim's house.
Residents of the area indicated that the man did not raise suspicions and acted normally. However, her sister, who had been entrusted to the children, went to the security forces because of the extended absence of her sister-in-law.
A commission of officials from the region went to the home of Navaeda Sánchez on Sunday 25. At the back, they smelled a strong smell of gas and decided to dig. There, they found the decomposed body of the victim, with a death date of 72 hours. According to the police report, the woman reportedly had lacerations and was presumed pregnant.
