A priest arrested in Maracaibo confessed to having committed lascivious acts against a girl (VIDEO)

"We focused on one and the other and one thing led to the other …", confessed the priest Iván Merino Padial during his interrogation before the police authorities of the State of Zulia, for submitting a minor to obscene acts.

Merino Padial, belonging to the Church of María Inmaculada, located in the urbanization of El Naranjal (Maracaibo), was deprived of its liberty by a court after Bolivian police officers of the State of Zulia (Cpbez) have captured inside his car, a Wolkswagen, with the girl, who was without her blouse.

This Wednesday, part of the video of the interrogation was broadcast in which the priest, of Spanish origin, admits the facts. In this regard, the archdiocese of Maracaibo presented to the media a communication in which he repudiated the lascivious acts of the priest against a girl. In the text read by Auxiliary Bishop Angel Caraballo, it was announced the excommunication of Merino Padial, who will also exercise no type of position in the Catholic Church, Venezuela or elsewhere in the world.
