José Toro Hardy, expert in oil economics, said that the case of elections at the University of Carabobo shows the attitude of the authorities with regard to electoral processes and their participants.
"With the case of elections at Carabobo University, they show us a mark of respect for the will of voters," he said.
He also noted that the situation made it possible to create hypotheses about what could happen during national elections.
"If that's what they're willing to do with a university election, it's easy to imagine what they would do with a national election," he said.
The institution of Carabobo has organized a university election whose results have been declared invalid by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ). The agency was named president of Jessica Bello, a student at the Federation of University Centers (FCU).
