Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized 8.2 tons of cocaine hydrochloride, 4.1 tons of coca paste, 12 tons of precursors and 32 000 liters of drug precursors, which were used to make cocaine, said General Fabio. Zavarse, commander of Zone 11 Zulia.

As part of the process called Soberania Patria Relámpago III, they also managed to dismantle a camp with 14 clandestine laboratories where all these chemicals were processed.
