CNE allowed Zulia to create 163 training centers for board members for 9D elections

The National Electoral Council (CNE) has authorized a total of 163 training centers in the state of Zulia for polling station members, who will participate in the upcoming elections on December 9, during which 173 representatives of the 21 municipal chambers will be elected.

Mariana Medina, director of the Regional Electoral Office (ERO) in Zulia, said that according to the electoral calendar, those selected by the CNE as members of the tables can attend from 9:00 to 15:00. at training centers located in each parish of the state.

He also reported that the electorate was late for the accreditation of witnesses, which began on November 23 and will continue until December 8.

"Political organizations may present their respective witnesses before the regional electoral commission or the municipal commission, recalling that all participating organizations must present a main witness and two substitute witnesses before each electoral body, before the regional, municipal and municipal authorities. elections, "he said.

He recalled that out of 173 councilors chosen by voters in Zulia, 53 are council members, 108 nominees and 20 indigenous.

For the electoral process, Zulia is invited to participate 2,554,222 voters, who can exercise their right to vote in 3,273 tables, which will be activated in 1,346 voting centers.
