In order for the mobile screen to occupy the entire front of the computer without the notorious Apple notch, the Chinese firm Nubia has introduced its Nubia X phone, which will be marketed in China from next month.

This mobile eliminates the front camera and all the sensors on this panel, leaving only a small LED light for notifications. The surprise is that it adds a second 5.1-inch screen and an HD resolution on the back, to the location of the dual camera.

This is how the system allows the 6.26-inch FHD + display to take a central place in the front of the stage. In addition, Nubia uses the back very ingeniously, because it is used to make selfies with the main camera, that is to say, the only one, which offers a quality far superior to that of self-portraits.

In the same way, it has an eye protection system which, without using liquid ink as the Russian Yotaphone did, allows to use the second screen, which consumes less battery. When eye protection is maximum, it appears in black and white.

Both screens are fully functional and it is simple to tighten the fingerprint sensors located on each side of the mobile. The Chinese brand has also managed to ensure that the presence of the secondary panel is not noticed when it is not used while the body is blue glass.

The second screen is OLED and not LCD, so the pixels do not emit any light when they are off. As if that were not enough, Nubia turns the back screen into a video game controller.

Characteristics

The characteristics of Nubia X are typical of a high-end mobile phone.

Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845

RAM memory: 6 or 8 GB

Storage: Up to 256 GB of internal storage

Battery: 3,800 mAh.

It also has a fast QC 4.0 charge.

There is no possibility to do an optical zoom in the dual camera because both lenses have the same focal length.

Camera and sensors

The main camera has 16 megapixels with a lens of 1.8 f. The secondary lens is used to capture additional information to enhance portrait mode and is paired with another 24-megapixel sensor.

However, the camera does not have an optical stabilizer for taking pictures in low light conditions.

To the same extent, it is possible to see videos on both screens, although the one that has no frame offers the best experience.

Price

The most basic version in China costs about 3,299 yuan (475 dollars) and the most advanced, 4,199 yuan (600 dollars).
