The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, received Monday a Official letter from President Nicolás Maduro for an official visit to Venezuela.
"Today, I have received an official invitation letter to go to Venezuela," said the Chilean exmandataria in an interview with CNN en Español.
He also indicated that the document received on Monday was the formalization of the announcement made by the head of the Venezuelan state at the United Nations General Assembly held in late September.

Bachelet said that he had already responded to the president during a possible visit, stressing that he would have to see when it would have been done. He also expressed his also intends to speak to opponents of the Maduro government during his stay in Venezuela.
