What is certain is that it would not be the first time that Qualcomm changes its name to its line of processorswhich previously consisted of S1, S2, S3 and S4 and in 2013, the series was changed to 200, 400, 600, 700 and 800. For now, the official name of the new processor is unknown, but it is more likely that it continues with the current numbering. it could be called Snapdragon 855.

Rumors also claim that society could launch a brand new sequence of names and start a new series with 5, since it will be the first chip with integrated 5G modem (X50) and maybe he'll end up calling Snapdragon 5000. A change that could also occur due to the unusual configuration of three central clusters, a feature recently appeared in some leaks.
