Officials from the Computer Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation and Investigation Unit (CICPC) arrested a man on Monday accused of crimes related to child pornography.
The arrest was announced by Douglas Rico, director of Cicpc, on his Instagram account.
The subject, who was identified as José Gregorio Peña Sulbaran, 45, reportedly created a profile on Facebook in which he claimed to be a girl to capture minors, ask for photographs and pornographic videos.
In Sulbaran's house, a cell phone was seized, which he would have used to communicate with a child under nine, in addition to the computer that he was using to establish the communication with the injured children.
